    That's what happens when something is no longer sold on the open market.

    Even when they were brand new - a gun like that would've been $800 or so.

    Brand new they were 450.00, FN brought in the last FN marked guns and dumped them, we had stacks of them. The Browning marked HP's recently were selling for between 800-900 hence why they were discontinued because nobody wanted to pay that much for an old gun. Now of course something is discontinued and all of a sudden people want them lol. If you're patient though usually can find an HP deal, they aren't exactly rare.

    I don't care for the wood stocked versions but the countered rubber/plastic grips always felt amazing to me. Eventually I'll have a pair custom built. Sold my Israeli import because it was just too rough, and now I'm trying to decide if I want to track down a "real" one or if I buy the feedback I've heard about the Tisas Hi Powers.
