    Had a question for you all. I just re-applied for my LTCP after letting my last permit expire. I went the L-1 route, but I also go finger printed at the City County building downtown. Is it normal to get printed in both places? I just felt like the process was kind of disorganized to be perfectly honest.

    Yea!
    The time this takes is a complete joke!:xmad:

    This makes no sense to me why the FBI can authorise a weapon
    sale in a few seconds or at most 3 days, and the incompetent fools
    in the ISP takes weeks or months to let you carry one when you should
    allready be able to carry one anyways.

    What a bunch of :poop::poop::poop::poop::poop:!!!

    Yes, Indy printed my thumb and index finger. I believe it is to compare them to the L1 to make sure you are who you say you are. Also, maybe it is become more of a pandemonium with everything, but when I did it in August it seemed very organized. I didn't know what was happening but they sure did. I was in and out in about 10 minutes.

    I agree. 17 weeks for me. Just ridiculous.

    ^^^ LTCH is a broad term that means you have the legal option to conceal or open carry. A CCW generally mean you can only conceal carry. In Indiana we have LTCH which means we can conceal carry or open carry with a permit. Although if you choose to open carry which is your right you should be prepared for police harrasement.

    My wife got hers Weds. Was about a 3 week wait.

    L1 or traditional?

    Has anyone ever actually spoke to someone when calling 317-232-8264? I've listened to the message three times, it still doesn't answer my question. after the message it prompts you to dial 0 when I do it just rings, and rings, no answer, then disconnects me.

    Just go to another print store or a staples. It's completely legal, they were just clueless. Not that you can really blame them.

    A couple at church told me that they applied for theirs last week and were told it would be about a 4 month wait. Just that many people applying right now. Traditional method.
