I don't know, you could be right. But, if memory serves, the application says CONVICTED not ARRESTED. I take that to mean if the case was dismissed, you were not CONVICTED.

    :dunno:

You're right it does say convicted if my memory serves me correctly.

I just assumed that any dismissed charges wouldn't of mattered anyways.

If you're charges were dismissed then I'm sure that you wouldn't have to disclose those.

I should've been more clear when I said "arrest"...I actually did mean an arrest that resulted in some type of a conviction.

    Thanks for pointing that out

Received email response from ISP earlier today mine was issued on May 13th. Exactly 12 weeks after ISP received application from local PD. Should be in the mailbox tomorrow or Thursday. The wait is finally over.

For those that kept track, how long did it take them to cash your MO from the time you applied? (Non L-1)

We didnt anticipate the delay and didnt hang onto the receipt so we cant check and thus dont have a frame of reference ... Wife applied 1/4/13 and still nothing 18+ weeks out. :(

:rockwoot: I figured Lake County would be a longer wait. I'm not to far off then! Did you contact ISP via email or a phone call on the status?

I emailed ISP yesterday at around 6am, received email response at around 1pm. Here is my timeline. Did L1 on February 15th. Paid local PD in cash same day. Local PD approved and submitted my application on February 18th. LTCH issued May 13th. :rockwoot:

Haven't been here for awhile so just thought I would stop in to say.......still nothing.

    L1 1/8/13 with minor misdemeanor
Emailed ISP 4/4/13 still with no response.
I have no clue how in the world all of you are getting anywhere with ISP.

What is the email address your using to mail and what info should I be giving? I applied on Feb 5 non l1.

    I believe it is
    ISP Firearms Questions (ISPFirearmsQuestions@isp.IN.gov)

I would say your Name, app number, the date you applied, the date your money orders were cashed and they seem to want a DOB.

Make sure you provide your date of birth. Many inquiries have been kicked back because no DOB was provided. The other stuff is important too.
