Got my lifetime today (renewal)! I sent in the application on April 21st and received it today (June 5th), just over six weeks. Not too bad I suppose :-)

My wife got hers today, Before I got mine- totally rubbed it in my face!.
It took seven weeks exactly. Mailed off April 17th- June 6th.
Hopefully I'll get mine next week or i'll never live it down!!

Hmmm- Fingerprinted 3/9/09 and sent sometime shortly thereafter . . . in Lawrence . . . wonder if Marion Cty takes a bit longer?

Turned in Lifetime Renewal on March 10. Received license June 4.
NOTE. These postings are of little use without identifying your County. Highly populated counties alwasys take longer.

-- Seems to be how it go's, me and my g/f did every thing exactly the same together and I got mine 4 days earlier,,, kinda burned her up because shes never even had a ticket and I had some juvy issues

I'd call, best guess is that your local PD took forever to send it out.

Just got my lifetime in the mail Saturday. It took right around 7 weeks.

The waiting time seems to be getting shorter, they must be getting caught up. My lifetime permit took just under 9 weeks.

It all depends on which city or county you are in. Mine just came after 12 weeks but that's Marion County. Less populated counties are faster than the big ones. That's why I say this thread is of little value unless you say where you are from.

Yes, the local jurisdiction seems to be where many problems lie. Counties, not so much. As I noted above, my wife and I received ours just under 7 weeks. I have no complaints about Hammond PD.

I agree. Was just trying to get those posting to give location so thread would be informative to others. Want to make board useful to all, not just a bunch of personal messages between those who are friends.

No, I mailed it myself. I'm in Fishers - they give you the app to mail once they've done their part.

Thats how it worked here in New Haven too. I picked it up the day after fingerprinting and mailed it myself.
