Do they have a standard magazine for 2011 models across manufacturers?

They do for 2011s, but that thing isn't a 2011. Anything that uses a descendant of the McCormick-Tripp frame uses the same magazines. That's STI, S-V, Phoenix Trinity, SPS, and probably a few others.

    Thanks for that.
I just read on FB that it will use P09 mags.

This has a high probability of impacting my pocketbook. :yesway: IMO it would look awesome with a set of figured rosewood or cocobolo grips on it!

    This looks interesting. DW's version of a 2011. 19+1 1911.

What's this going to cost? I'm in lust with a Kimber Raptor II 10mm right now but this looks good too.

Am surprised they stayed with the single grip screw, only pita I've had with CZ's and Tanfos is having the grips start to wobble during a match.

Staying with the single grip screw gives this gun instant aftermarket support for grips. But, I do agree that the CZ grip screw is a weak point in the design

So when did Kimber get a bad reputation? For years they were solid, reliable performers, but now most 1911 people reject them.

Not sure when but I checked all over the net it's a gamble if you have to return it or not. I thought Taurus had a bad reputation. If Kimber is that bad how do they still get $1300 or more for their firearms?
