Bet the wife nagged him into being a vegetarian and adopting the "never hurt a fly" persona. Probably sneaks a cheeseburger, kicks dogs, and scares little children when the old ball and chain is not around. She thinks more nagging will get rid of his guns.

If this guy is a vegetarian by choice and owns guns, then he is a odd duck.

Don't have kids with this loon! The nagging about something will never end and the kids will be indoctrinated with the wife's beliefs.

Did this lady know her husband owned firearms before they were married? If so, why are you throwing a fit now? If she didn't know he was a gun owner, buy a gun safe and the problem is solved. If there is a gun safe present, then you sir married an irrational ding bat.

He was the only model located conveniently and she figured she was God and could mold him into her image.

Offer her $ to go and never darken your door again. Whatever it costs, it's worth it.

No. He P-locked one of our trucks to save a turtle once, almost got rear ended...... Too bad he put the turtle back on the wrong side of the road, and it probably got run over anyway.
Hes a hard one to figure out. Liberal as hell, and I should hate him, but hes not a bad guy. Its a shame really.
