From what I understand of the area "back in the day", he probably would have been welcome. I've been told they used to be a sign at the county line, "welcome to White county, notice the name, we intended to keep it that way". Nowadays, not so much.

I have come to the conclusion that the actual Oak Island treasure is the Oak Island TV show.

Hitler is dead. Where he died at maybe up for debate but I sure wish I'd have been the one that figured out to make a show looking for him, they have been to some pretty nice places. Maybe Hitler is in Alaska, Australia or New Zeland. I better go check.

But, but... we won't BELIEVE what they're gonna reveal this season! They said so!

I believe he did. Check out History's Hunting Hitler, totally makes you think about it and how feasable it could have been. Too many Germans escaped to South America, so why not him?

Actually watching that show now. Interesting.

Four seasons in and the Oak Island guys haven't found treasure. What makes you think that Hunting Hitler will ever bag a trophy?

It's like the shows with the moronic bigfoot or ghost hunters. Does anybody actually believe that they will EVER produce definitive proof of anything?


Other than, that people will watch anything.

I love the Oak Islan show, just because it's amazing how they can make so many episodes just with what they found (like a piece of wood, a coin and a rusty nail).

It's comedy at this point, I don't expect them to find anything ever.
