Just more demagoguery from a dem to incite a dem segment to get out and vote. Both sides of the Boot On Your Neck Party are using inflammatory language to rile up their base voters and get them out on Tuesday. There's too much anger on both sides and it's going to make things worse than ever, even after Tuesday.

Glad to see SOMEONE got it right. I was just going to point this out, but figured I'd better see if someone else had first.

In context he was talking about LATINOS punishing THEIR enemies. Not obamatard punishing HIS enemies. Although, I'm sure they're on the same side, but my point still stands. He's just pandering to the latinos to get them to vote Dem even if they're not legal to vote.

The country is already destroyed. It has been destroyed for decades. Folks are lucky that we have had decades of ceasefire to prepare for what is coming. Not sure when the collapse happens, but eventually we will see similar riots like we are seeing in Greece and France. When that happens, time to move to one of the more rural states.

I think this is all about "political" enemies, but Barry could have used less inflammatory language. As has been pointed out there's too much negativity in politics. Short term thinking in my opinion. In the long term this stuff will hopefully bite them. We can only hope that when the economy improves we all don't return to our apathetic attitudes that allowed us to get where we are.

At the grass roots level (the "get out the vote" level) there has always been this sort of negativity. This is the sort of stuff you'd see on the OP ED pages of major newspapers; when "journalists" were "reporters" and unabashedly picked sides.

Negativity continues in politics because, to a certain extent, it WORKS. Lee Atwater used it to good effect in the early 90s, but most Republicans have never been as good at fear-mongering as Dems, in recent times. Rarely does either party choose a spokesman who can articulate the feelings and philosophy of the party well enough to convince people to follow; most are content to scare voters away from the other party.

Actually, he was saying the same things when he was campaigning for the presidency, however those wanting hope and change were not listening very closely.

Amen... it's poor language use, and no the guy is not calling for true war. Just getting people riled up... Like MJ said.. it isn't helping anything form both sides.

Maybe his poor decisions will (and he has made several of them) but that is not his goal. Compromise, and getting along is how things are done. Not everyone thinks like you or I, and if we didn't compromise to a degree almost nothing would ever get done. You sound more polarizing then the President does. At least with him there is a pretense of getting along or trying to.

I concur with you 100% Some things you can't compromise on! But because someone want's to do something that you don't want to compromise on doesn't mean that working on a different issue altogether doesn't call for compromise. In other words if you are against guest worker programs, and politician A is for them maybe you feel that this is not a time to compromise, but they are talking about tariffs and maybe it is time to compromise on that.. Just because someone you don't like is in power doesn't mean we should say F them and ignore them.. that would halt any progress and there is too much of that now.

Those are not any of the compromises that anyone that I know has thought was best for this country.
