    Yeah. I see your point. Then, where would they have been?? They'd have had an entire shop full of spotlessly clean rifles!!!

    well it was surplus yeah they would have cleaner ones. but the last few left over if everbody did the same would be trash and they wouldnt make as much money off of them. like said before not everyone is concerned about cleaness. How concerned can u be of surplus weapons when selling in bulk?
    on the other side i did the same at another shop recently and scored me a nice piece. It wasnt surplus but it was used. got a good deal. also got lucky.

    I couldn't sell someone a dirty gun, that's plain annoying.

    If I'm going to sell something, I'm going to make sure it's in the best possible condition.
