I know some people that have only ever have and will carry one gun, then there are guys that change guns more often than girls change purses. So where do you fall in this scale?

I didn't vote because my specific choice wasn't there.

Yes, as soon as I get around to having some repair work done on it (sights replaced, new hammer/spring kit, that sort of thing).

I think being forced to switch while waiting to repair or replace your original carry piece wouldn't really count, as you had no intention to switch.

I carry the same everyday for now. I am very happy with it for my current needs. Come summer, I might go pick up something smaller. I have a M&P 9C so it conceals pretty well but once T-shirt and shorts come around I might get something smaller. Thinking Shield, LC9, something similar.

I have a collection of 1911s. I usually carry one of my Kimbers. I have a custom build 1911 ordered for which I have waited 9 months and probably have another 9 to 12 months to go before I get it.

For a number of years I carried a pair of Cimarron Thunderer birdshead grip .45 single actions (the TWINS) until my old eyes could no longer see those little sights properly. I miss carrying those things, there is just nothing so stylish as a brace of thumb-busters.

    I switched to a pair of N-frame Smiths, a 1950 M&P in .45 Auto Rim./.45 ACP and a M-29 .44 Mag.

On special occasions I carry a pair of Smith Hand Ejectors that I call the the PATRIARCHS, a first model in .44 Special and a second model British military contract gun in .455 Webley.

This old dog sees no new tricks on the horizon.

I carried my first gun, a Beretta 92 FS for a several years. It was my first hand gun purchase. I still have it and shoot it frequently. I discovered the G 19 and that's all she wrote! Same amount of rounds carried, smaller gun and grip and easier to conceal (when the occasion warrants it). Between those two, I carried a GP 100. That got some looks! :D

I have 3 guns that I carry on occasion, 2 of which much more than the third. My primary EDC is a glock 23. I have been entertaining the idea of putting in a 9mm barrel and essentially carrying a glock 19. So I guess that could be seen as getting a new gun eventually...sort of.

My carry gun varies with the one I'm currently with which I'm training. A few years ago, I had to commit to training and carrying only glocks in order to learn the trigger. Now days, I vary between the glocks, cz's and 1911's.

All of my EDC, are old.... S&W 59, S&W 19, S&W 645.... Taurus 85..... Nothing wrong with these, I love them... I want a S&W M&P... When I get one, and put around 500 rounds through it, it will be my EDC .....

When my made-in-1989 Glock 19 finally breaks, yes, I'll get another G19. This one is approaching somewhere around 30,000-40,000 rounds. The Tritium sights have been dead for over 15 years. It doesn't matter, the front sight insert fell out during a Tactical Response class 6 or 7 years ago anyway.

Never a spring, pin or anything else broken on it.

Glock 19 Gen3 and P3AT Gen2. I change between the two depending on the situation.

I'm a 1911 guy...so I'll always have that platform handy. But the two within easy reach are different calibur...one Kimber in .45 and one Delta Elite in 10mm. And I just picked up a Sig P938 which will become a CC.

Had considered switching my Glock 26 out for a Glock 19 so I could carry with a light attached to the pistol.

Talked myself out of it when I thought about having to buy the pistol, plus light, plus new holsters, etc.

There is nothing wrong with the Glock 26 and I believe it will serve me well for many years.

I've had my G26 for a while now, but when I find the right deal on a S&W M&P Shield 9mm and have the extra $$ on hand I plan on buying one of those because the slimmer profile has a lot to offer a guy like me who works in an office. For now though the G26 is doing fine.
