Same thing happened to my friend this past week.....she got 3 days in FB Jail. I posted something funny about her...LOL....she said she was going to kick my "a**"...spelled it that way also....was just joking. So they got that spelling also down now as threatning someone with violence.

One thing I have noticed is I'm still commenting on the ignorance of liberals, I will crap on them any chance I get. There would be dozens of libs losing their minds and commenting back, they even on the conservative sites. I would say in the last 5 months or so, I have never got a single liberal feedback.....where did they all go.....? It seems since Trump is gone they have nothing to live for to hate....?

I had a 30 day suspension from Facebook Marketplace because some moron offered to trade a homemade suppressor for a pickup truck I had posted for sale.

Facebook is a product from a corporation and I'll walk away (like a walked away from Twitter) when it no longer benefits me to stay.

Their mission is to maximize shareholder value. Not having the bots would result in loosing a lot of lawsuits which is counter to that mission.

I know YouTube is just as despicable as Facebook but have you investigated YouTube Live for streaming races? There are many other alternatives for live streaming video.

IIRC, you have to have something like 1,000 subscribers to stream on Youtube from a phone.

I had a dream that FB would be broken up like ATT. That FB would be allowed to run the infrastructure and have their app, but anyone could offer an app to share on that infrastructure. Each app could determine what they found acceptable and each individual could find an app that fit them, but no matter which app you had you can connect to grandma who may be on a different app to share grandkid pics.

I’ve got that covered. I’d have to see about getting everyone in our circle to sign up for a YouTube account and then subscribe to my channel so they get notifications. That work is already done on Facebook. Facebook is certainly a more convenient platform for viewers.

You are pretty well correct.

However, this becomes an issue with streaming videos. If you have the know-how, you can still set up your own video stream, and just send people the direct link to it through text, email, or whatever. Of course no one will see it unless you send them the link, but there's a bigger problem, too, and that's data usage. When you stream through fakebook, youtube, or whatever, your internet service or phone data plan, as the case may be, only has to support ONE video stream, going from you to youtube's server, and then from there youtube handles passing out the data to anyone who watches. If you're hosting it yourself, your own internet connection has to handle simultaneous streams to each individual person who's watching, and this can bog things down real quick if you don't have business-level internet speeds.

As usual, big tech will censor anything that appeals to conservatives or patriots, while allowing absolutely anything glorifying the left and socialism. I could live with the censorship if it was applied with an even hand. But it is so blatantly political in nature on facebook, twitter, et al.

Pretty much. It is still that way. I can set up my own physical webservers and put anything I'd like online. I actually have my own virtual webserver (but it's hosted on AWS so it could still be turned off if I anger the "wrong" people enough. Even then, I could transfer my DNS to another host, as there are many smaller hosting companies who won't ban.) But it's really inconvenient, and difficult to disseminate from your own platform (or no platform). All the widely used platforms where your content can get to a wide audience quickly are run by pure leftists who operate accordingly. By practicing political censorship, the leftists can't fully eradicate conservative content, but they can greatly diminish it. And that is their goal.
