That place is overpriced, staff is unfriendly, and I've heard that they're holding a bunch of rifles people have paid for and are not delivering them. That place had a good thing going with some quality LR stuff. They've run their business into the ground by hiring dumb asses, and changing their model from a customer service POV to an ignore everyone and be @$$hat type of business. Sorry, but the first few times in there it seemed they were GTG. They are a far cry from that now.

I have to agree with this. When they first opened, I had high hopes for them. I was desperating wanting some competition from H&H/Freedom Firearms.

All one needs to do is look at their facebook page. There is NO professionalism there whasoever. It's like an employees personal page. I wouldn't find it appropriate to advertise MY business like that, but hey, it;s theirs so they can do it how they want.

I'm interested to see how ZX guns does in F. Wayne. I've heard good things about them, so here's for hoping.

This has not been my experience at all. Of course, I'm not an ******* to them either so that might be why. I have seen multiple complaints about Sniper CO, Ranger Supply Co, and Freedom Firearms on this forum and I have to say that I have almost always had at least reasonable customer service at all of them and usually the service has been excellent. This week I shopped at all of those places, Zx, Gander Mtn, and Tomlinsons. Each have slightly different inventory, and I eventually found everything I needed among them. I good service at each place and paid reasonable prices for what I purchased. (I have not been to Wrigley's this week but I have been happy with them as well)

The only GRRRR I experienced was that Tomlinson's would only let me buy 1 box of 9mm (I needed 100 rounds and didn't feel like breaking out the Dillon) so I just left it there since I would have had to still load 50. Might as well load them all.

At any rate, my point being I have to wonder if the "poor service" that all these folks are experiencing is more related to their personal issues than the actual service provided by these shops. No place is perfect.

I wonder if I visited some of you whiners at your place of business if I could walk away saying the service was at least as good there as it is at Sniper CO. I'm thinking...maybe not.

There's 100 rd boxes, so with the other brand 50 ct boxes, you should have been able to get two. So said Denny. Next time you're in, say so. :yesway:

I've only been in Sniper Co a few times, haven't really been that impressed to be honest. The whole idea of hanging a bunch of "not for sale" guns on the wall always confused me. What really did me in though was my last trip in there. A customer pointed to a rifle on the wall and asked, "how much for the M1?" The employee behind the counter pointed to some detachable magazine fed contraption that looked an awful lot like an M14 (to me at least) and said, "this one?" Customer said, "YUP!" I just turned around and walked out.

Listen, I don't expect gun salesmen to be walking encyclopedias. But it frustrates me to no end when guys don't even have basic knowledge of the very firearms they're trying to sell.

Your absolutely correct, my words were not edited but the interview was. I actually did talk about the gun show loop hole as everyone refers to and how private sales do not only happen at gun shows without background checks.

People somehow think I'm anti gun because I support a background check on all firearms purchases. I guess I don't see why.

    Let's look at facts.

    1. Any individual can sell a firearm to another individual without any kind of background check.

    2. This means that a person who is unlawful to purchase or possess a firearm could purchase one from a law abiding individual without any way of stopping the sale.

    3. This also means that someone unlawful to possess a firearm can sell a law abiding individual a firearm without the law abiding buyer knowing.

Now a universal background check system will not stop all firearms from changing hands between criminals, but it would prevent #2 and #3. How can that be seen as a bad idea? I would like to see a background check done for every firearms purchase with no restrictions for legal gun owners and a minimum 10 year sentence without early release for any felon caught with a firearm.

I think the minimum sentencing would be more of a deterrent for criminals even though it may only sway a few and the background check system would protect you from selling a firearm to a felon and prevent you from buying a firearm from a felon.

So tell me how this is a bad thing?

Do any of you really think that the 2nd amendment allows anyone to possess a firearm no matter if he is law abiding or a felon, because it seems many people think they should be able to buy a firearm from or sell a firearm to anyone they want to.

Would you really have a clear heart knowing that you sold a firearm to a felon or is it okay as long as you don't know anything about the person? (What I don't know won't hurt me)

What if you bought the firearm only to find out later that the seller was a felon and the firearm was used in a murder and now your a suspect and have to prove you bought it from someone else? Imagine the hassle and the loss of the firearm and money you would be out.

JMHO, but here is where YOUR opinion, is FLAWED..... For two, and three, to be prevented, YOU have to maintain, a REGISTRY....
There is no way, to do it, any other way ..... If I sell you a gun, and we go to an ffl, then you sell the same gun, and you both go to the ffl, then he sells the gun, and they both go to the ffl, see what I am saying .....

There are already two threads on this forum, about the "govt." consficating firearms, in Ca., and N.Y.

HOW can they consficate, if there is NO REGISTRY ?????

JMHO, you have been around Paul Helmke, too much !!!!! JMHO .....

Too many people are advocating walking the slippery slope of a Universal Backgroud Check. For those of you who are OK with it, back off. The Neo-Nazis know how to sucker you into believing what they tell you.

Wow! I just drank a 12 pack, reading 23.5 pages of posts here! (Also prompted by the "Sniperco raided" thread.)
I have many comments and opinions to throw in here, but I don't need to go that far!
Free market lets us purchase our goods and services wherever we see fit! (If only that applied to healthcare!)

Clearly "Andy", is the only person here we can confirm is a socialist tool! Perhaps Shaun is one as well, but Andy is the only one who openly admitted it!

The mob mentality and group think, started around page 10! (Kudos to all of you who's opinions are your own, and not drawn from the collective!)

I HAVE been to sniperco, and have met Shaun on a couple occasions, and he has been polite and knowledgeable, without being an elitist douche! (Perhaps because he read me as knowledgeable, perhaps not!)

That said, I have seen first hand, their crumbling business model, and in reality, I think a lot of it came from the madness last winter, when they made promises that NOBODY could keep! Much less a business just getting their feet under them!

What comes out of an employee's mouth, authorized or not, is the responsibility of the owner! You can $#itcan anyone you like, but the responsibility of what they say falls on the owner!

The most important thing I'll say, was said many times here, and cannot be refuted by anyone who claims to support our constitution, country, or our bill of rights!

ANY LAW THAT PUTS LIMITS ON OUR GOD GIVEN AND CONSTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED RIGHTS, IS AN UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAW, AND SHOULD BE DISREGARDED AS SUCH!

Bunnykid68 was on point, saying that there are too many crimes considered felonies, that govt uses as an excuse to strip your GOD GIVEN rights! Many ARE Bull$#it! If a man can't be trusted with his god given rights, why the hell are we allowing him to walk free!?

I have a buddy, who was a competitive rifle shooter, all through highschool and college, but he got a couple DUI's, and they pulled his right to own firearms! Safe, responsible firearm owner, who taught me a lot of what I know, is considered a felon, and isn't allowed to exercise his 2A rights!A few of his rifles are mine now, and if the Shiite ever hits the fan, as Bunnykid said, I'll be arming him post haste!

I can only hope that our mob mentality will have the appropriate targets, when it REALLY matters!
