This is how liberals(and stupid people) learn to shoot, they go out by themselves, shoot something on the ground 3 feet away from them, and look down the barrels all while filming themselves. WTF?

If you watch the slow motion part at the end over and over it appears as thought the flexing of the gun in the early stage of the round going off saved him. The gun flexes with the initial ignition and changes the point of aim farther from his forehead.
After I read this post I did watch it over, and I agree. If that had not happened, his head would have been blown off and this video would have not been released.

I witnessed something similar at Pop Guns, only the gun didn't go off. A cheap pistol (a High Point I believe it was) had jammed in the range and the guy banged the gun on the table, then looked down the barrel. Luckily the gun did not go off, but that was the last time I ever went to Pop guns. I have never witnessed a range officer there who actually pays attention to the range itself. Normally that would not bother me, as most gun owners are responsible and understand basic gun saftey. But, Pop guns seems to attract quite a few air heads and thugs to their gun range.
