My friend's father hated them with a passion. He would tell us how they were coming off the lines and they had a tent set up passing out coffee and doughnuts, to which they the took the cost of them and deducted from their next paycheck.

That was what my dad said too. He said they had to pay to cigarettes and snacks, but he didn't say 'how'.

Yes, now that you mention it, my late mother who communicated with overseas relatives during WW2 said one of the reasons they hated the Red Cross was because they charged them.

Sounds like the border patrol should go wait for them in those spots then.

Border patrol is overworked just dealing with the daily legal crossings.
These "Red Cross" entry points sound like a great location for some fire teams with overwatch. I'm sure some points could just be mined.

Why is it that every video I see of mass crossings is comprised of single, military aged men? Aren't we told that the invaders are "refugees"? Where are the women and children? Surely there must be some. The drive by media reports that it's all girls and babies.
And why am I seeing Asian and Middle Eastern features and complexions on supposed South American refugees and asylum seekers?

That's from the Canadian site, but if you say they have the same thing the world over, I'll take your word for it. What you've pasted looks like they are mostly offering help to *legal* immigrants. Is that a bad thing?

This seemed preposterous, so I did some looking. It seems that the US military told the Red Cross to charge them.

Christian charity is only for those of legal status? You can be against illegal immigration without denigrating people that offer charity to those in need.
Yes, I believe a country's allegiance should be to its legal citizens first and foremost. That isn't me dengrating anyone, it's me prioritizing based upon my own worldview. Maybe the Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc. should go to the countries from which the illegal aliens come from and help there.

As the OP here's from the article I posted.

The organization is not only facilitating help for illegal migrants in the U.S., but appears to be helping migrants make their journeys far south of the border. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has recorded a record surge in illegal migration at the southern border, where federal authorities encountered more than 2.3 million migrants in fiscal year 2022 and more than 870,000 between October and January.

Latest news from CALI. Nothing to see here...

So we have thousands of fighting age men on our border storming it. hmmmm...

Maybe a couple Ma Deuces on our side might help stop a surge of people who arent supposed to be here stay where they should be. (not here)

(Note my view is different if they follow the rules and apply and wait their turn)
