    Where's the bacon?
Waitasecond... So if I cross the border to visit Mexico (or Canada, since that's the only other country that borders us) I'm not allowed to buy whatever I want to buy that's legally offered for sale? At whatever price I can negotiate? And on returning to the US, I can't choose to sell that which I've purchased? Is there some legal limitation on how often I can do that?

I recall a very, very nice onyx chess set my brother owns which was purchased many, many years ago in Mexico, that would have cost far more to purchase in the USA. :dunno:

You would need to adhere to all laws governing import and export in each country. You can cross the Canadian border and buy one of Fidel's finest cigars but bringing it into the states is strictly forbidden.

If you are importing or exporting for business purposes then the laws are far different. I doubt the said exporters in the OPs post have licenses to do so.
