DPMS LR 308 Oracle re-due

As I'm sure most of you know, Cabelas had these mispriced a while back. I picked up a couple. I decided to turn 1 into a long ranger.

This is how it came....

And how it looks now......

I added a DPMS carbon fiber free float tube and tactical grip. The stock is a CAA ARS Sharp Shooting Stock. The scope is a SWFA Super Sniper 20x42 mil dot with a Burris mount




Its still a work in progress. The black and OD theme will be continued through the gun so it will look like the big brother to this.

I hope to get a DPMS .308 next month for my long ranger, but I want a 18 or 20 inch upper. At the last gun show in fort Wayne I could only find a 16 inch for $900.00

This is only 16, but for $699 there was no way I could pass them up! It only has 20 rounds down the tube breaking it it. I will let you know how the 16 inch works out with a range report.

True, but think if you would have had to pony up the extra $300 you were so post to for it to begin with.

I only bought one because of the great deal. I already have this for my long range 308. Just could not pass up the deal on the DPMS.
