You can check out all the birds of prey in Indiana at the Raptor sanctuary in/by Hardy Lake. A few years ago they came to the fishing open house at Bass Pro in Clarksville and gave a talk. They also brought several birds form a tiny little 5" tall owl to a (almost) full grown eagle. They rescue injured birds and release them back into the wild if they can. If they are too severly injured to survive on their own, they keep them for display or give them to zoos, etc.

I've seen several around Patoka lake and outside of Martinsville around IPL's generator station. Thats why IPL calls it Eagle Valley. Its really neat to see them in the wild. They are huge.
