Before computer video murder cartoon games came along, before the movies and TV shows were nonstop bestial behavior, in other words before it could be shrugged off as a matter of monkey see monkey do, it was puzzling to see how some people went off their noodle. By the last quarter of the 20th Century though our culture had been overwritten with a normalization of evil and most people who bothered to think about such things could see the writing on the wall. We've not just allowed this to happen. We've embraced it like Romans going to the games.

After the 1991 murders at the Luby's cafeteria in Killeen, Texas someone called my attention to a standard methodology that had been in use for some time of the killer having two weapons, reserving the second one to kill himself when capture was eminent. At that time they were correct; there was a commonality.

Indy's Mr. Thugacre definitely doesn't fit the narrative. People who can't keep their pants pulled up killing multiple people over $timulu$. Nothing to see here. Indy's mayor will probably be jealous that the Atlanta perp has taken any attention away from his message in the Circle City. Maybe he can point out that based on population of the two cities, killing 4 people in Indy (population 1.8 million) is actually worse than killing 8 in Atlanta (population 5.9 million). Then again, white Atlanta guy targeted Asian owned businesses just days after it's announced that Asians are under attack in America while Thugacre's actions are same ol' same ol' in Indy.
