That weird Russian shotgun/rifle combo sounds a lot like what is known as a "Drilling" gun.
You might just have a fistful of dollars with that one.
Some Drilling guns bring incredibly stupid prices.
We need GOOD pictures of this gun, A.S.A.P.
Oh man, I was so wrong. Only one 12ga and a 30-06 under that. Don't know what I was thinking. It would still fall in this category though.

    It is a Baikal.
This is also the crank fire pair of m1s. Postwar models. Removed the rear sight for a move a few years back and haven't unearthed it yet. Big circle with a cross in it style.

Just bought this for Father’s Day, thought it was a neat truck gun/ SHTF gun…. And then I shot it..,,OMG…, it hurts…. RIA folding shotgun, 5 pounds does little to reduce recoil…gonna find some mini shells…

A few years back, Survival TV was very popular. I saw a H&R Survivor Shotgun(12 ga) on the used rack at LGS. Was kinda dusty, but looked good, single action, single round, and has a storage compartment in the buttstock. I bought it. cleaned it up, shot some rounds thru it, even deer slugs.

I found some camo tape and burlap roll, and did it up on stock, and barrel. Installed a sling, ammo cuff on the back stock, made up an Altoids kit, and installed it in the removable recoil pad/cover of the buttstock.

Took it hunting, camping, bushwacking. Not a bad investment. Most of the Survival shows spun out, but still have my Survivor Shotgun. Definetely a keeper.

Was browsing the forum today and found this hilarious thread

Not wanting to hijack that thread, it reminded me of the time I saw a particularly $hitti Erma Werke EP25 at my local shop. Ugly zinc 25 ACP west German pocket gun from the 60s. I knew it would get some laughs out of my circle of friends so I bought it for a whopping 100 dollars.

During our outings I'd whip this thing out at opportune times to get a laugh out of the guys. Use it to put down clays that got away...put down spiders in the grass... take long range shots at the gong, stuff like that.

As time went on I really enjoyed that little bugger. Not a serious use kinda pistol but it was a source of a lot of fun. Liked it more than I thought I would. Ended up selling it some time later to upgrade to a more serious pocket gun.

I keep thinking about that time and seeing some of the abominations in the aforementioned thread...

I'm tempted to do it again. Perhaps with some flavor of hi point. Put an obnoxious muzzle device on it. Cringy paint job perhaps. Bring it to pistol shoots to get reactions out of people.

Lets hear your stories and see your guns that fit in this category

Nothing says you have all the answers, like hi point hydro dipped in $100.

I bought a Bulgarian Makarov about 7 years ago for laughs. The 9x18 ammo was, relatively speaking, ridiculously expensive compared to 9x19 ammo. So I sold it for about $200 shortly thereafter. Now you can’t find them in good condition for $200. I guess it’s the same old story of seller’s regret. :ugh:

Damn these 4th of July sales… I bought this fugly Matador Arms Montgo-9 upper (put it on a Foxtrot Mike 9mm lower) because it doesn’t use a buffer and I have had suppressors on the brain lately! Going to shoot it unsuppressed until the can gets out of jail.

Got a Hi Point 45 Carbine with the American flag wrap. Ended up liking it so much I added a scope, barrel shroud, trip pod, and muzzle break to it.

Yes, I bought a Standard Manufacturing 333 Thunderstruck .22 Magnum pistol for laughs. Turns out the joke was on me. Big time.

Keyholes at all distances, won’t hold a 3’ ( yes that’s 3 foot) pattern at 20 feet. Simply dangerous beyond point blank range. Watch some YouTube videos you’ll be amazed at how bad they are. But they are fun to shoot, for about a day, then you realize that you could never carry such a potential liability under any circumstances.
