I was reading https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...-way-choosing-powder.html?412193=#post6501012 I'm curious as to what your favorite powders are and why. I'm a cheap bastard, so I want something that works across everything that I shoot. I've been reloading handgun more than 5 years and have just started into rifle loads. Immediately I noticed that the extruded or stick powder (Reloader15) meters much more consistently than the flake powders (Titegroup, clays, IMR700x...) I use for handgun.
Clays I have found works great for powder puff loads/reduced recoil loads, although a bit dirty.
Titegroup is good for stretching the $$.
Longshot is great for high power loads, and seems cleaner than the others.
I've used a few others without much fanfare.
What are your favs?
