Nothing new here. Women's lit is an ever shifting thing. In the 70's it was interracial doings via books like "Mandingo" and the like, with Southern belles being ravished. Now it's a bit of BDSM. Whatever adds a bit of variety for those ladies that like to read this type of thing, is a good thing. If they enjoy it, go for it.

I'm just assuming clamps are torture devices. I guess they could also be used to steady something while preparing to use it?

I haven't read the book and don't plan to. I will however be on the lookout for alligator clips in the bedroom and will say my safety word immediately. 3 reps to whoever correctly guesses it.

A Doctor's version of this: xkcd: RuBisCO ?

Well that ruins that. I didn't think I had to say if you were there to help me pick it then you can't guess :xmad:

well if it's not freeman, how about printcraft?

I didn't get a chance to say Jared got it first. Though now that it's known I guess printcraft is a decent option. I'll submit it to the governing council and see what they say. I'm guessing that is already registered by several people...

I'll be honest. I had to dig this thread up. MrsGBuck read the first book, Fifty Shades of Grey, and then started on the second one while URGING me to read the first one. She said it was well enough written that you can't put it down. I read the first one and to my surprise, it really was good. Yes, there are some of the "porny" parts, but there is actually a pretty good story line and some psychological thought involved. I'm now half way through the second book, Fifty Shades Darker, and I'm enjoying it.

I will say, as someone up thread did, I find myself skipping some of the "thoughts" she has during and after the sexy time, just because it's so repetitive.

Anyone know someone reading this trilogy? Supposedly some billionaire telcom 27yo has a "playroom" and gets chicks to be totally submissive in life and in the bedroom, and full of descriptive BDSM type of stuff. I'm all in favor of my wife reading some racy story, but why did it have to be THAT kind of stuff???

Why is it women have to live together for months to regulate their cycles together but they can shift from novel to novel en masse without a clear indication of who is leading it? It's like a school of fish...

I do that and I'm not even rich...

My wife started reading them. She bought all 3 but only made it part way through book 1 before she decided she didn't have enough time to read them and that it wasn't really her sort of thing. She ended up selling them for what she paid...

But, things were pretty good while it lasted. Without getting too explicit we'll just say I'd be going about my business, not even realizing she'd started reading the book, and out of nowhere she'd jump me, drag me to the bedroom kicking and screaming (sometimes we didn't make it that far) and you can fill in the rest. This happened very frequently... sometimes multiple times a day...

I'm kinda torn on her selling them... probably a good thing because she gets more done around the house now but not as much action now... :dunno:

Not to be a dick, but you just said Not to be too explicit, but the next sentence you told us about Your bedroom time getting put into overdrive.

Either dont tell us, or tell us. Either or. LOL... Just dont be surprised if PrintCraft offers up some pointers...

You should get them for her again. I read the first one in about 5-6 hours.
