    Where's the bacon?

I suspect that if one were to contact the state of AZ they would find training to require competency testing in the spirit of the law or in some legalese we aren't getting from reading code.

...if you have a Utah permit you have a permit that required you to take a class to receive that permit. So you can receive the AZ permit with proof of your UT permit.

True story. The UT class is four hours in a classroom, much of which addressed Utah's laws on carry, including carry at K-12 schools, which is pretty useless for us in IN.) I took mine in a meeting room of a Holiday Inn, along with several other INGOers (lovemywoods, esrice, Lars, CWood, and bwframe, just to name a few.) AZ DPS told me that the photocopy of my UT CFP was sufficient proof.

    Hope that helps!

    Blessings,
    Bill

Unless you need the class right away, save the $20 and take Hunter Safety live. I am hosting a class in LaGrange April 13-14. There is no comparison between an online session and live instructors and interaction in the classroom.

To clarify some of the assumptions others have stated; there is no age limit or charge for taking the class. Passing the class in Indiana allows you to purchase a hunting license. It is required for anyone born after 1986. I don't know the details about how this class might apply in other states, but others here seem to be addressing that aspect well.

I 100% concur, I took it when I was a kid in 4-H shooting sports and my wife took it on line, even though it was 20 years difference my in person class was way better.
