Sharpshooter
There have been a significant number of posts discussing the Barack Obama and Mitt Romney and their "opposing" views of the Second Amendment. I think Obama and Romney both present serious threats to our gun rights Obama, of course, in all, is the bigger threat. However, Romney is a man who lacks principles and is more than willing to compromise out right to bear arms. The song and dance that he has done regarding his support for gun rights is irrelevant. Personally, I have to look at the facts and the records. Romney does not have a good track record with guns.
While I would rather see Romney in the White House than Obama, I am simply tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. I don't associate myself with evil, and I certainly don't want evil as the chief executive of my country. That's why I'm taking a personal stand and voting for Gary Johnson. Voting is a personal choice, and at this point, most people have made their decisions for November 6th.
I'm a realist; I know that Gary Johnson will not be elected on Tuesday. However, for argument's sake, let's just pretend that he will. If that happened, I am extremely confident that all of our rights (Second Amendment Included) would be protected. Third party candidates do not have a fleeting chance of being elected in the United States because its people do not have the courage to divorce themselves from the status quo. I fully believe that breaking from our dependence on the two-party system would give us a new beginning in this country.
I have attached some videos which discuss Gary Johnson's views, particularly on the Second Amendment.
