There was still a varied stock at 5:30 pm. The prices were a little high, but it was amazing seeing all that ammo. I missed the real deals in the morning (apparently so did a lot of other people because they raised theyre limit to any 10 boxes per person). This morning GM had tons of Mini mag 100s and a couple 16K golden bullet buckets. There were also plenty of 350 packs of 9mm and .45. I wonder if we'll see many new adds in the classifieds

Check out Gunbot online, I finally found some Fed American Eagle 50 cnt at a reasonable price. Just ordered some--oh it was 380 acp

Its about a 40% increase from the "old" price but McGalliard Guns in Muncie has Tula .223 for $7.99 a box. The last time I seen that in a gun shop it had a price sticker around $13...

Just called gander mountain greenwood. 45 minute trip there... I called an asked if they had .22lr and they laughed and said 'the shelves are full AND we even have some still in the back.' She said no way it will be gone in an hour. They had at one poit 1400 round buckets. And the limit is 10-50 count boxes.

If you don't mind paying 5.35 per 50 you can get 500... It's cci lead round nose 40gr its funny because they are the little paper boxes that come in the brick which I bought for 39.99 2 weeks ago

Gander mountain in castle ton just put out a load of handgun ammo, 9mm. 40. And 45 and cci 22s. Shorts and longs, But it's PRICEY. 45 acp. Uncle 230 gr fmj 250 Rds 130.00. Uncle 9mm 250rds 110.00

All they had left in the way of .22 lr was the CCI target solid point. 4.99 a box. Only bought 3. They had several hundred boxes left. No .38 rounds at all. Plenty of .223 and 7.62... Sealed spam cans of 640 for $220.


Also got some federal 3 inch magnum buckshot. Copper plated 12 ball 00 buck with flite control wad. I was looking for the tactical version (low recoil) but you can't argue with 5.99 a box. Look up the patterning for these... Unbelievable groups even at 50 yards.

40 minute trip each way. Stopped at the gun shop on 37 and county line. Guys named chad and chad... Great guys. I had been looking for .22 varmint ammo but had bought the .22 target rounds they had at gander. He had gotten some varmint rounds for his daughter to plink with. He traded me round for round... I was pretty surprised. Props to those guys. Got what I needed and made some friends.

Best value seemed to be 100 CCI MiniMags .22LR HP at $7.99 and Remington 9mm FMJ 115 for $15.99... The CCI went fast but they have a ton of 9mm...
