I just purchased a Girsan Regard MC Gen 4. For those folks that are not aware, the Gen 4 has the “G” style controls, decocker only.
I am a Tactical Tupperware kind of guy but wanted A DA/SA pistol to fool around with. I drove to Everything Concealed Carry in Clarksville and picked it up for $499 + tax. That is a really great (today) price.
The gimmick grips are gonna come off and will post pictures after I get them replaced.

Does it have dovetail sights? Been missing my police trade in m9 but finding another one that don't break the bank is hard.

Same type of reason I bought this one. I wanted an M9A3 but couldn’t justify over $1000 for a gun to just use at the range. The quality of this pistol is great and accuracy will rival any M9/92 clone or not. Trigger pull was 8lbs 11oz DA and under 4lbs SA. I’m gonna do some “stuff” and see if I can lighten the DA a bit.

On the trigger. Try about 500 dry fire cycles at home to break it in some and see if it gets better most triggers do after they get a good break in. Some may take 1000 or more to break them in.

Yes sir. Driving the wife nuts.....lol I do need to qualify what I said about the trigger: It is smooth and does not stage nor is it gritty. Clean breaks in both actions just heavier than my Tactical Tupperware. ;)

My only grouch about these and mind you haven't handled one yet is the finger grooves. Can regular beretta grips still fit?

Absolutely. If you look at the target above, those are the first shots out of it. 15 yards. Mostly DA. I was trying to work that long pull out. Now, I am a DA S&W revolver guy, bit this DA isn’t exactly the same. I mastered the revolver an am sure I will this one too. But, still, this trigger is very manageable.

I thought I’d hate them, like I abhor the ones on older generations of Glocks. Those never fit my very large hands. These fit my hands very well. I’d not keep from buying one because of them. They fit me well. When I picked it up the first time, I didn’t even notice them. In fact, I had to get it back out of the box to see if this one had them! Lol

I watched a YouTube video or two about it. I bet it's a great pistol! I do think the grips are a nice novelty/purpose (Link: ASP). Keep us updated on that bargain.

I didn't know that ECC had opened up in a new location, after closing down on Eastern Blvd. I'll have to check them out. Do they buy and sell used guns too? You made a pretty long trip to buy a gun from "12 miles from Michigan" to 5 miles from Louisville!

I’ve done dumber things…gun related! Lol
By the mall in an out building. As you go into the mall by JC Penny’s, go left into the adjoining parking lot. Great folks. Great service. Great price.
Yes, they buy and sell used guns.
