Yeah it's sounding more and more like this is the case. Now you've got an excuse to go to one of the upcoming gun shows. If they look real close, I bet it's not too hard to mix up the original and the knock offs, just look at the LTCH copies people make and get to where they can't tell the original from the copy. The one that works is stamped 9mm towards the top and the other doesn't have anything in the same spot. All the numbers are slighty lower. Yet the number on the baseplate is the same, 3206. I think it is a poorly made cheap knock off made out of spec.
Also, I bought it from a member here instead of a shop.
I wish I could figure out how to post the pics from my iPhone. Is anyone willing to PM me there email and I could send you them to post?
It's not 18 rounds, the 16 is after the 17.
Definitely looks shorter; possible more "worn down?" I'm also not seeing the metal lining in there, either, like you do on the "good" mag.
My guess is a cheap knock off. Ive never seen a factory Glock mag that doesnt have metal feed lips to begin with. The missing metal lips and liner is the big give away
I'm going to just send it to Glock and let them figure out what to do with it.
