I have been carrying a G19 Gen5 on duty for about 8 months now. I have NOTHING bad to say about it. The cutout on the front of the gun does not bother me, and I am huge fan of the Ameriglo Bolds. I carry IWB in a comp-tac Minataur. Now that they have C-TAC holsters out for the Gen5, I will probably order one just because of the additional retention.

Now, if you already have a Gen4, I would not run out and replace it with a Gen5. If you don't have either, might as well get the Gen5, unless you want the MOS option.

After putting about a thousand rounds through my Glock 19 Gen 5, the accuracy was great when new however, it seems to have improved. Perhaps l'm getting more comfortable with it but very happy with my Glock. Another up side, there are many holsters to choose from.

I really love mine. Glock needs to work on the trigger guard next I think. But the gen5 19 mos is probably the most perfect glock so far
