Didn't read the whole thread, but my 2 cents.....SAXD SubCompact is the best bang for your buck. I see a lot of glock talk on here, but for the price, the XD is a better deal since you get a decent accessory package with it that you would have to purchase additionally for the glock. I think as far as the gun itself goes, they are probably pretty close to equal and it come down to a matter of economics and personal preference.....Plus, I've never heard about an XD blowing up in any-ones hand the the way glock grenades are known too.

I agree with the pt 140 i carry one reguarly and take it to the range at least once a month. never had any problems with it and am very happy. 10 round mags dont hurt either.
