Geez, I like snow. The more the better. In Northwest Indiana, we don't get enough. I grew up in Southwest Michigan. There, it's like it or go nuts. I chose the former.

...but go where you'll be happy. That makes total sense.

I'd love to live somewhere that I would never see snow again. Ever. No use for anything under 50 degrees, and although I prefer a dry heat (Arizona, etc) to a humid heat, I'd take a Florida summer over an Indiana winter any time.

I was so happy today that it was almost 60 degrees and sunny! Wish it would stay like this until March, then warm up. :)

I've been to Florida a few times, I really like St. Augustine. Wouldn't mind living in that area.

Still love it here with four seasons. Hate the summer heat in FL, had it and not going back at summer time. What I love about Indy is the traffic. We can go to any events and not have to deal with the traffic. And almost everything is just close to drive. And people here are nice.

And not having the beach (the real one, not a lake one), makes it special when we go to it. Grew up for 20+ years where the beach is just a 40min drive and we took it for granted since it's just there.

I have a friend who lives in S AZ and is taunting me about the 80 deg heat. I let him know I don't like 80 degF even in the summer.

80 degs and no humidity in the summer would be absolutely positively PERFECT weather. I might could get used to that weather all year around, too.

I would simply note that it's no accident that the industrial revolution, modern technology and real representative democracy developed in zones with 4 seasons.

Yeah, it's great, until you pull your wallet out of your pants and realize it's soaked in sweat. You just don't notice because it evaporates as soon as it hits the air. You however are dehydrating rapidly. Even in Death Valley it's amazing how dry you stay...until you pull out your wallet to pay for a drink. I have a hat that's been there 3 times...it has 'character'.

You should feel my wallet on just about any summer day that I've been outside and working. The $ inside (HAHHAHAHAAHAHAH) gets damp.
