I dont know a single thing about this guy but I like how he rolls on a first impression.

Hopefully he is not just a politician; from his statements he seems sincere. Candidates need to be drilled and put on record on what specifically they will do; a check list for when they get in office. Too bad our media doesn't do this, unless it is a Republican.

Christie is the real deal. He's seriously kicking butts in NJ on spending/tax issues. He has an excellent command of the facts and when the Democrats/press accuse him of all of the usual boogie men that they put conservatives through, he routinely thrashes them. Here is a great example where he lays out the facts as to why he had to go after the teachers union's salary and benefits:

There is more of an ugliness to a person's vindictive and twisted mind, than anyone's viewable appearance that can ever be shown unto the naked eye.

IMO, if he and his spouse are okay with his physical appearance, what difference does that jerk's, or anyone else's, opinion matter? Him being overweight, is just more for his wife to love.

That is the first I have heard of the Governor. I like him. Straight sweet and to the point. We will be hearing more from him I would think.
