    Jury trial scheduled for the 18th of Oct, long time to twist in the wind.

    I'd be absolutely shocked if it went then. "Quick and Speedy" for those in custody take priority over those who aren't in custody. They set a date because they have to have a date set. Nobody really expects that date to be "THE" date. Pre-trial deals, continuances, court congestion, etc. etc.

    Yeah, but no verdict entered.

    I wonder if there was some sort of deferral agreement that is being processed.

    Based on the very little facts I know about this matter I think the jury probably reached the right verdict. Sounds like it was truly an accident. Maybe he needs to invest in a better holster though.

    I think he needs to develop better situational awareness.
