Gun Forum pet peeves

What's yours? I'll start.....Guy starts a thread wanting advice about a gun he's considering buying. 80% of people in thread advise against, then OP goes out and buys gun anyway then posts what everyone thinks about it. If you're not going to listen to sound advice then don't start a thread asking for it.

My actual pet peeve: Those guys that show up in every thread that are an expert on every single weapon system. Consequently, every single firearm, other than their personal favorite, is pure garbage and they will happily tell you why.

My pet peeve is when the same people want to be the first to make a joke in EVERY thread. It doesn't matter if it's about a death, a new gun, or even political. The run to the laugh gets old.

People regurgitating info they read online as though it is first-hand knowledge. People who talk about what great shooters they are, yet never seem to show up to shoots.
