gun storage facilities

Anyone know of a gun storage facility(Indy area), public or private, available to hold guns on a temporary basis? This could include gun stores and/or ranges. If so, any idea what the rates would be?

I'm sure that would be the way to go, however, in my case, i've only recently moved here and haven't quite established any friendships yet that would allow for that. It would only be for 7- 10 days. Everything is insured.

Trust issues having to do with my current living situation,unable to lock them anywhere, housemate who will be there while i'm gone. 7-10 days.

While I cannot see it working in this instance you should try and make a friend or two on here. If one of my friends asked me to hold a couple I would throw them in the back of my safe.

In my case I can leave my guns with my family or my fiance's so it isn't an issue.

Long gun will be a problem for most bank boxes.

You know, that would be an interesting thing to find out. I could see providing a service like that for people, like soldiers going on deployment, people going on cruises, whatever. An extra safe, some insurance, etc. Of course I'm sure there are many on this board who would be willing and trustworthy for your purposes. There are some great people here.

While it's not a full blown safe, Home Depot currently has a 12 gun, locking storage cabinet for $149, IIRC.

This was the location at 38th/Highschool. Not sure if it is a sale, or just a unit they are wanting to move.
