Am I crazy or is the only way this could possibly be enforced is if every gun was registered to a particular owner? How else could they prove you transferred a firearm to someone?
I am sure our Biden voters would say it is a small price to pay to protect our children and also ask, what do you have to hide? They live in some fantasy world where nothing bad will happen from flirting with socialists.

While I understand your sentiments. I believe Rand Paul is the exception.
yes. I like him, his votes will not affect any LAW in the foreseeable future. They have uncheck power, don't care about your votes and proudly install "their candidate or appointee". declare an emergency based on bogus made up data.

Democrats are a patient bunch. They want registration (and confiscation) and this is just a stepping stone to them getting there. They're not stupid, they are well-aware of what it it will take them to get there. Little by little, they work toward their gates. Republicans keep unlocking those gates, and say "we'll let you one step past this gate, but no further". Next thing you know, they're at the next gate.

McCain was a proponent of universal background checks. I'm sure many of you voted for him for president. Why don't you support it now? Because it's not "your team" proposing it?

Didn't support it then, don't support it now. Only impacts law abiding people and no one else. How many gang bangers go through NICS or any other background checks (other than joining the "gang")?

I have been sending my new representatives a continuous stream of correspondence.

Every week or two I run my search at congress.gov looking for firearms related legislation. I then write to her pointing out those bills which are acceptable, and the large number of bills which are utterly unacceptable. I then make sure that I note the number of co-sponsors for the unacceptable bills as well as note whether she is a co-sponsor on an acceptable bill.

I intend to keep doing this until things change. Which probably means I'll die first.
Each time I write I challenge my representative to call out those who are violating their oaths of office. To call them out for their sponsorship or co-sponsorship of legislation which is contrary to the Constitution.

I have also encouraged my representative to build a coalition among other freshmen Congress persons who believe in the Constitution as written.

Some people were born with their brains up their asses and **** them out.
Some people never poop them out, and let their brains get full of poop, and swear they're producing reasonable thoughts. They don't even know that they're full of ****. It's sometimes astounding that they don't realize the crap coming out of their mouths. It goes straight from the feels to the mouth without any rational thought.

Wonder if single shot trusts would be a legal method get around this should it become law.

Guessing not due to the "trusts formed in the event of death" language
