    Handgun with most capacity in .45; in 9mm; .in .40

    Not counting "extended magazines" that extend beyond the base of the handgun. What handgun has the highest capacity in .45 & which one in 9mm? UPDATE: what about .40 as well. :D

    & it got me thinking on this Qs since those agents were using 5/6 shot revolvers vs a long gun!

    MOST AMMO SO FAR
    .45 = 15 + 1 in FNP-45 Tactical or Para P14
    .40 = 19 + 1 in Les Baer Hi-Cap 40
    9mm = 20 + 1 in BERETTA 92FS with Mecgar magazine

    I think Para makes some 14+1 double-stack .45s.

    FNP .45 has 14? Maybe?

    Glocks have 17+1 9mm in the M17.

    XDm goes 19+1 I think.

    FNP-45 14 + 1
    FNP-45 Tactical 15 + 1

    FNX-9 17 + 1

    I don't know if these are the highest capacity, but that is what mine hold with factory standard magazines.

    In all seriousness though, I know Taurus makes a 9mm that holds 17+1. Not sure which model it is, but I'll text my friend and ask him. For .45, I think the FNP 45 holds 13 or 14 like esrice said. I know the H&K USP 45 Tactical holds 12+1 in the standard mag.

    Looks like some sort of future weapon. Not sure it's a carry weapon however. Hum... What does this cost?

    But lets add that you need to be able to carry it (IWB). Still A for effort Joe.

    OK so far these are the "winners" (per say)
    .45 = 15 + 1 in FNP-45 Tactical
    .40 = :dunno:
    9mm = 20 + 1 in BERETTA 92FS with Mecgar magazine

    Wow 21 rounds at the start for 9mm.

    Taurus 809's 17+1, but I actually have one factory mag that is a 18, Taurus's original stated capacity for the 809 was 18+1.

    No extended mag or no "aftermarket" extended mag?

    How about my soon to arrive Glock 18 with factory issued 33 +1 capacity mag? :yesway:

    +1 for glock 33 round mag and they make a 22 round mag for the .40 and Kris super v uses a modified glock .45 mag making it a 30 rounder, which can be used in the glock 21's! So I guess Glocks win again!
