I don't know if finer liquors have been listed... just stuff that isn't bottom shelf. If you like bourbon, I'd like to suggest this:

Elmer Lee's single malt Kentucky bourbon... specifically barrel #14.

I picked this up on sale as my palate is only as refined as my wallet will allow it and this is up there with some pretty good hooch. As you can see, I picked it up at the Cork and Bottle in NKY.

Edit: I can't get my phone to upload the picture because my battery is too low!

My top picks so far (always enjoy sampling something new):
    Balvenie
    Laphroaig
    MacAllan
    Oban- probably my favorite

I drink Famous Grouse as my every day type drink as it is a decent Scotch and comes in the half gallon.

Put a couple fingers of Scotch in your glass with just a splash of tap water. No ice.

WTF, I just posted and it didn't show up.

Oh well...Most everything I consider tasty others have already mentioned.

1792 Ridgemont Reserve(bourbon) has a top-shelf taste, but a mid-shelf price tag. Old Pogue is also very tasty.

It was link drinking the tropics without all the sand fleas. I brought him a bottle of Appleton and he smashed it over my head for not being the 12 year. I learned my lesson.

well I didn't show you my 21 year appleton, that stuff is ferrari level and the price reflects that.

also last time I was in the bahamas(years ago) I picked up a couple bottles of johnny walker blue at a deeply discounted price;) very good stuff.
