Except I've never tried a chain saw.

And I haven't sharpened and axe or hatchet for more than 20 years. I need a hatchet.

you can practice on some of my axes. or figure out that machine...

I feel like this needs bumped already lol. New toy showed up. Got it for a freaking steal since the owner had "used it" and it really needed sharpening lol. Said hell send it my way and I'll see what I can do. I can't get the very middle shaving sharp. It's sharp enough to cut paper but not shave with. only about the center inch or so can't figure out if I'm not getting the burr or what. it feels good but then when I got to hone it just doesn't take. I'm on the grinder so maybe I'm not getting the angle just right. However the rest of the blade I can shave with so that is good enough for the chicks I date
