For those of you in the know, make sure you post when this thing passes. I'm planning on heading out in the woods this weekend with my Ruger Scout and it'd be awesome if I were legal with it.

Might want to go with "million" instead of "billion". After all, how many other states outside of Indiana would be stupid enough to go for this?

It's not just to compensate for the 10' rule. Just think of how nice it would be to switch "stand" locations by simply walking to a new spot. All you gotta do is walk over to a new tree and lean back against it and you're in business. I'm gonna be a billionaire.

    *sigh*
So, even if it passes, I'm still aced out by being in the eastern side of the state instead of the western half, where US36 is the dividing line between north (not allowed, as written) and south (allowed, as written).
Tantalizingly close, since where I hunt just happens to be only two miles south of US36.
    Ho hum...

Best i can figure, if youre in the southern part of the state, you have to be up 10'. If you live in the north, you have to be up 20' and only shoot 9mm 124gr.
