Sorry, I should have been more clear. Are you air conditioning 1 room or 2? My sun room is accessed only through the master bedroom meaning that there is a shared wall. In a perfect world, I would like to have a wall unit in the sun room and one in the master BR so I can air condition the MBR overnight without cooling the rest of the house, or at least as much.

My wife thinks I'm mean. I think that we only have 5 or 6 more years of people occupying the other bedrooms full time. So, I think it would be more efficient to set the thermostat a little higher overnight in the greater part of the house and cool the master BR more- no reason why we couldn't do just the opposite in the winter.
