The thing is, a community works best when folks contribute. Even a little. So while it's fine that folks lurk, they aren't really contibuting the the community much other than being extra eyeballs who can increase the prices Fenway can charge advertisers.

So it's great that you learn a lot by lurking here, but pretty much all you are doing when you do little but lurk is taking without giving anything back. But heck, there's even a way to give without posting by becoming a site supporter!
