    As far as a revolver and personal protection, I love the Taurus Judge. For ease of carry I had a nice little colt 380 that was small, easy to conceal and reliable. Just my two cents.

    A K frame sized 38 or 357 magnum with a 4 inch barrel.

    If you work in a gun store, what do you recommend to new shooters coming into the shop asking the exact same question?

    I doubt you will find one for only $400 though. Most are going for $600 plus.

    But I agree. A k frame S&W in .357 magnum is a great gun. I carry a S&W 66 a lot.
