Congrats on the first gun ! My very first handgun purchase was a Colt Targetsman 22 pistol which I chose over the Ruger 22 auto and I never looked back. Probably one of the best purchases I ever made. Still in mint condition almost 40 yrs later.:patriot:

It is about time woman. Did you really get that from Ortega?

He told me about Strictly Shooting having one in stock and for a great price. Mr. Ortega's Armoury does have a nice ring to it though

One of the great things about a firearm, is that it isn't concerned if you have an "innie" or an "outtie".

Big thanks again to Mr. O who not only gave me the lead on the gun but kindly took me to Red Brush with his lovely wife to shoot and clean it! :)

Congrats, as someone already stated, surprisingly, my first pistol was also a Glock 23. Still have it, it still runs like a sewing machine. Still very happy with it. (although, i do have more then a couple other firearms that I love a little more, this one I know is always there too)

Glock 19 was my first, and so far my only. Looking at a little customization on it though.

What you looking at getting customized on it? I know a couple places that do things for glocks, depending what you want done. The one that I would suggest for tons of parts, barrels and what not though would be Lone Wolf Distributors. From what I understand, they have everything and more

I was always a Browning Hi Power and Sig fan. "I'll never buy a plastic gun". That was before I bought my G19 and my G23 and my G21SF...well you get the picture. You made a good choice. One suggestion. Take all of the money you would spend on trigger connectors, grip plugs, guide rods, and springs and spend it on ammo. You'll have more fun and won't have to store all of those parts when you take them back off. lol Congrats!!!
