Next up is digital cameras. Your digital camera holds 1000 pictures? Who needs that many? Child pornographers. That's who. These high-capacity assault memory cards are making it too easy for these child abusers to photograph their victims. This is the exact logic we're all facing. You think after a ban passes and a shooting occurs they'll say "Oh, well I guess that didn't work, here are your freedoms back, sorry for the inconvenience." It's going to be more legislature, more control, more meaningless words on paper.

That cynical ***** would say that about our HANDGUNS too (I recall that when she was 'frisco's mayor, she held the ONLY ccw license in town), except that she knows they're politically out of reach now with the tsunami of "shall issue" LTCH laws across the country.
