    I'll be smoking my bird.

I believe it was 3 years ago I deep fried one and smoked one just to see what everyone (My entire Mom's side of the family) liked better. After everyone was done eating, the smoked turkey was a meatless carcass and there was ~90% of the (perfectly cooked) fried turkey left over.

Included in that missing 10% was a leg that I ate...I LOVE me a fried turkey leg, but as a whole, smoking is a better (i.e. juicier and tastier) method IMO.

No cooking, cold cuts in a cooler. Driving to Georgia on Thanksgiving to deliver a bunch of furniture and necessities to a relative who's starting over.

I'm cooking turkey the same way I have for 25+ years.

Use a convention oven set at 375 degrees, that also cycles in 30% duty cycle microwave.

It cooks in a couple of hours, and results in the juicy moist breast meat.

The best I've ever found and I get raves for it every year.
