    Hi

    [voice="StrongBad"]Oh, holy crap![/voice]

I went to look up that Taurus .45 Colt revolver in answer to your question about a short-cylinder Judge... and found THIS:

Ok - call me a sucker, but I've always had a soft spot in my heart... as well as a soft spot in my head... for revolving rifles and shotguns. Now, the only problem is finding the money to buy one of the things!

I'm wondering how one keeps from burning their hand and/or arm on that revolver rifle?

    Taurus cancelled that snubby :(

Shot a 2 1/2" Judge for the first time last weekend. Yes, they are ugly beyond belief..., but I don't really see myself carrying one (I mean, they are really ugly).

However, they beat everyting out there (by miles) in terms of personal/home defense. Ever have a shotgun fit in one hand? No? Well, shoot one first then come back and tell me I'm wrong.

I only got to shoot it once (it was a friend's)..., but the .410 loaded in a "non-bird defense" round is something special.

I'm a hand-gun guy..., so I'm just being honest here. I was at the time, and still am totally impressed with this platform.

On a funny note, I'm predicting the Glock, Springfield, Ruger, Kimber, Colt, S-W, Pare, Beretta, Kahr, Sig,..., all those marketing folks are slapping their foreheads wondering why they missed it.

Don't worry, this time next year Tauras won't be the only player. Good luck finding one this year...

    Hi

Proper stance with a revolving rifle or shotgun is hand-on-hand. Forestocks are just for decoration and sometimes omitted entirely.

Did I mention that I'm crazy about revolving long arms?

    Taurus cancelled that snubby :(

    Oh NO!

Ah, well - I'll just have to get the .454 Casull snubby and load .45 Colt.

    ....

    No...

    Wait...

What am I saying!?!?! I'll just load .454 Casull!
