    OK, so I'm going with the freezer bag method and no oil. Thanks for the great info. And of course wearing and using it.

    Yep No Oil! Why do something to soften a new holster. Good holsters are supposed to be rigid and stay open for easy, safe, one handed reholstering.

    I am sitting here at the desk doing a little work, reading INGO, and watching Elmo's World on YouTube with my 3 year old daughter. (Yes all of that at once. I have a really big monitor.) It occurred to me that I am in fact breaking in a new holster right now. I got it last week. First thing I did was put it on and went out and mowed my lawn. (I think there is another thread somewhere talking about carry while mowing.) Nothing better then sweating up a new holster to break it in! :laugh: Today I am wearing it around to do the same thing. Next step will be to draw the gun over and over again.
