I wash Brad's on gentle cycle in washer but I take the cap out before the spin cycle starts. This system works great for me. If you have a bad stain then use like dawn or any dish detergent and an old toothbrush .

I have (er.. my wife has) washed them on "gentle" and set them out to dry. Well made ones survive, cheap ones don't.

I've also dunked them in the bucket when washing cars, scrubbed a little, rinsed with the hose, and put them back on. Clean hat, cool head, and clean car.

Lately, yeah. I do prefer clean cars, though. I am a car guy (Jeeps, actually), so a bit biased.

I only really about having a Clean Truck/Jeep when I am going to be traveling a fair distance or I have to work on 'em... :D

Dirt and Mud keeps people from leaning on them in town...

I just throw them in the washer, then let them dry on a coffee can/tub (usually folgers). keeps the form and no wrinkles

I just throw them in the wash with the clothes, then when the wash is done...I put on the cap and let it dry on my head. Keeps it from shrinking up.

Lots of good tips on here, well most of them at least ;) I've never washed one before and I have a couple that I can't replace so I wanted to be careful with them. Thanks for all the info. :yesway:
