    Let's see...

    2005 Saturn Vue - 135K
    2003 Jeep Wrangler - 80K
    2009 GMC Sierra - 75K
    1980 Jeep CJ7 - Unknown. I think it is about 50K

The Saturn will get traded in the next 12 months. The Sierra isn't even broken in yet. The Wrangler is a tool-around car, and the CJ is off-road-only now.

Just about every 99-06 LSx truck engine has a light tick at start. It's the piston skirts click against the block until it gets warm enough to seal/lubricate. They all do it at and it doesn't affect engine life at all. Dad's truck has done it the last 80k. Former Boss's 'burb did for 300k miles. Wen I left he was at 360k on the truck and running like a top.

I'll try to listen for something I don't recognize!

I used to be worried about driving a vehicle with higher miles. Now, I am anxious to find out how many miles I can get out of my Jeep. Although I have heard some horror stories about the 2005-2006 4.0 Wranglers involving the OPDA.

You should be able to double that mileage. If you are worried about the oiling system, install a real pressure gauge (better then the stock), and/or proactively fix the oil pump assembly. Just keep up on all the other maintenance.

I can get a new crown OPDA for $110. Just not sure if I should mess with it yet.
