Which reminds me ..... I've been meaning to stop by Bradis and check out an M&P 40.

Grats on the new piece! I have the 4.25" Pro M&P and love the gun. I'm having a bit of issue with the finish on mine but the gun itself, the way it fits, feels and shoots is incredible. If I weren't such a big fan of my Glocks I'd probably have traded of my G17 already!

If your wife is comfortable with the 9mm it makes complete sense. If there is ever a need to use it the hesitation should not be there.
