Sounded and looked like a prison yard in some tv shows and movies I’ve seen.

There is a growing sub culture that have no concern for the law, civility and absolutely hate the police. I recently saw a video where a black man (he may be some kind of entertainer) commented on the OP's video. He said that the police want these young teens to have guns so they can kill one another. He further stated that the police only want to kill young black men. He says there is a conspiracy to let the young black teens kill one another so the police can finish off the remaining ones and "swoop in". With nonsense like this pervading the sub culture, there is little hope for progress, not only in stopping killings, but in being able to reach youth. With people like this black man mentoring black youth, they don't have a chance. They certainly won't want to listen to white folks. BTW, even if the police wanted to "swoop in" in the end, what would be left worth "swooping"?

Juveniles with guns? Pretty much a daily occurrence at work.

IMPD Officers Arrest 15-Year-Old with Rifle Following Disturbance

IMPD officers arrested a 15-year-old male with a rifle on Saturday night near S. Illinois St. and W. Georgia St. thanks to a quick police response and the use of public safety cameras.

On Saturday, April 15, 2023, IMPD officers responded to a disturbance call involving multiple juveniles near S. Illinois St. and W. Maryland St. It was also reported that a juvenile involved had a rifle. As officers’ approach, a 15-year-old male first walked, and then ran away from the officers eluding the police. This was observed by officers watching on a public safety camera who provided officers with updated information about the juvenile’s location. The juvenile suspect was located in between vehicles in a parking garage and detained without further incident. The pictured rifle was located under a vehicle near the juvenile. A rifle magazine that fit the rifle was in the juvenile’s possession along with some suspected marijuana.

The 15-year-old was arrested for dangerous possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana.
The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will make the final charging decisions. The suspect should be considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law (or found true in juvenile court).
